Company Name: the name your shared templates print

Account Name is the name on your account. Company Name is the name your shared templates print, and how to set it.

Your account has two names in LettrLabs.

Account Name is the name on your account. It shows in your account list, on invoices and in support. It is usually your legal name, for example "Warner Brothers Plumbing LLC".

Company Name is the name your customers know. Shared templates print it wherever they show your company name, and in the sign-off. For example, "Warner Brothers Plumbing".

Set your Company Name

  1. Open Settings > General.

  2. Type the name under Company Name. It sits under Account Name.

  3. Click Save.

Every shared template you order after that prints the new name.

What prints when Company Name is blank

A template prints nothing where the company name would go. The sign-off shows the persona alone, for example "Mike" instead of "Mike, Warner Brothers Plumbing".

Where else you can set it

When you configure a shared template, the Company name row shows the value from Settings. Change it there and click Continue. The order prints the new value, and Settings > General takes the same value. Your Account Name stays as it was.

Orders you saved before this release

An order keeps the values it saved. A draft saved before this release prints your Account Name where the company name goes. To print your Company Name on it:

  1. Open the draft and click Edit.

  2. Type your Company Name in the Company name row.

  3. Click Continue.
