monday.com's own Automation Center supports webhook actions as a native recipe type, separate from Zapier.

Before you start

  • A LettrLabs Open API key and an inbound webhook connection (see Setup Guide: Open API & Webhooks).

  • A monday.com account with access to the board's Automation Center.

Step 1: Create your LettrLabs webhook connection

  1. In LettrLabs, go to Automations > Open API to generate an Open API key.

  2. Go to Active Webhooks > Data Streams (Inbound) > Create, name the connection (e.g., "monday.com"), and copy the Webhook URL.

  3. Turn on OpenAPI Key authentication.

Step 2: Build the automation in monday.com

  1. On the board you want to trigger from, click Automate to open the Automation Center.

  2. Search the recipe library for a Webhook action, or build a Custom Automation if no ready-made recipe matches your trigger.

  3. Set your trigger (e.g., When status changes to a specific value) and set the webhook action's target URL to your LettrLabs Webhook URL.

Step 3: Test and confirm receipt

Trigger the automation on a test item and check the History tab on your LettrLabs webhook connection.

Step 4: Wire the connection to a mailing and map fields

Open the Automation (Integration Order) or Radius Mail setup, select the monday.com connection, choose the action, and map fields from the test payload.

Step 5: Go live

Save the webhook connection with a name and confirm the monday.com automation is active.

If a pre-built webhook recipe isn't available on your monday.com plan, your team can register a webhook directly via monday.com's API instead — a technical contact can set this up.
