Setup Guide: Fundraise Up

How to connect Fundraise Up to LettrLabs via Zapier and trigger mail from donation data.

Fundraise Up has a native Zapier app — and Zapier's directory even lists a direct, pre-built Fundraise Up + LettrLabs combination, which makes this one of the easiest integrations to set up in this help center.

Before you start

  • A LettrLabs API key and an Integration Order created for Zapier (Setup Guide: Zapier, Steps 1–2).

  • A Fundraise Up account with admin access.

Step 1: Connect Fundraise Up inside Zapier

  1. In Zapier, start a new Zap and search for Fundraise Up.

  2. Authenticate with your Fundraise Up account.

Step 2: Choose your Fundraise Up trigger

  • New Donation — the most common trigger, for a thank-you mailer to first-time or recurring donors.

  • New Supporter — fires when a new supporter record is created, useful for a welcome mailing independent of the gift amount.

  • Recurring Donation Updated — useful for donor-retention plays tied to subscription changes.

Step 3: Add a LettrLabs action

Add Recipient to Integration Order is the standard choice for donor thank-you mail. Consider also wiring this same trigger to the Revenue Attribution with Zapier + CRM Integration pattern (send the donation amount to LettrLabs as a conversion event) if you want mailers attributed against acquisition revenue, not just triggered by it.

Step 4: Test, then go live

Test the Zap, confirm the sample recipient in LettrLabs, publish, then activate.
