This guide covers how to change your plan tier, and what happens to your billing, balance, and pricing when you do.
Upgrading your plan
You can upgrade your plan tier directly from your LettrLabs account at any time — go to Settings > Billing and choose to upgrade.
Billing date: your billing date adjusts to the current date, and you're billed for the new tier's pre-pay plan.
Balance: your existing balance carries forward as long as you stay on an active monthly pre-pay plan.
Cost per card: your existing balance is used at the new, upgraded tier's pricing — so an upgrade can make your existing balance stretch further per card.
Downgrading your plan
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current commitment period.
Billing date: stays the same; you're billed at the lower tier going forward.
Balance: carries forward as long as you stay on an active monthly pre-pay plan.
Canceling your plan
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current commitment period.
After your billing cycle ends, your cost per card reverts to standard one-off volume pricing.
Balance: depends on the terms of your agreement. Reach out to your Account Manager if you have questions.
